Flexible Mounting and Usage Options
AeroScout Tags empowers the wireless network infrastructure with visibility of people and assets otherwise not connected to a wireless network. The Tags’ convenient small size and weight, plus multiple mounting options, provides an easy manner of deployment.
Multiple Reader Options
AeroScout Tags transmit standard Wi-Fi (802.11b/g) messages that can be received and processed by standard wireless access points from the leading networking vendors, as well as AeroScout Location Receivers, for a full-featured Real-Time Visibility system at a very low infrastructure cost.
Choke Point Detection Capabilities
AeroScout Tags include a unique built-in choke-point function that no other tag can match. Using the AeroScout Exciter, the tags can be detected with high accuracy at a constrained area (such as a shelf or small room) or trigger immediate alerts as they pass through a choke point (such as a doorway or gate).
Seamless Indoor / Outdoor Reliability
The AeroScout Visibility System uniquely locates AeroScout Wi-Fi RFID tags in indoor, outdoor and mixed environments seamlessly via the use of both RSSI and TDOA algorithms.
Call Buttons
A call button feature adds the ability to define events according to button(s) on the tag and pattern in which they are pushed. This enables advanced functionality such as emergency reporting or parts replenishment.
Compatibility and Non-interference
AeroScout Tags are fully 802.11 compatible, safe to use with sensitive equipment and are the only tags on the market that utilize a patented clear channel assessment mechanism to eliminate interference with the network.
Tag Programmability and Storage
AeroScout Tags can be programmed and managed wirelessly and in batches via AeroScout Tag Manager software and tools. Tags can go beyond Real-Time Location Solutions (RTLS) and store multiple data messages that can either be pre-programmed by the Tag Manager software or programmed on the fly by an AeroScout Exciter.
Telemetry and Sensor Capabilities
Valuable data, like gauge readings or monitor indications, can be retrieved and sent wirelessly by AeroScout tags. The tags also have standard and optional built-in sensors like motion detection and temperature measuring sensors.
Advanced Functionality
AeroScout T3 Tags include a tamper-proofing mechanism built-in for theft prevention and high-security areas. Expanded LED functionality adds the option for up to three different colored LED lights on the tag when unique visual identification is needed for large inventory settings.
